What is copy writing?Copy writing is based in marketing – It is the process of writing advertising promotional materials such as catalogs, billboards, newspaper advertisements, social media posts and other marketing communications in a persuasive and creative way. Copywriters write sales promotions and other marketing materials for products/business’ to encourage people to take action and invest. Their job is to gain your business more customers and viewers in a quicker amount of time by using persuasive copy (Copy is words used on web pages, ads and other promotional material).
Most people get copy writing confused with copyright – the exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish or sell someone else’s work.

The introduction of NCC 2019

The ABCB have recently released a preview, and finished information seminars for building surveyors relating to the introduction of NCC 2019. Three years have passed since the last edition of the BCA, which has brought some significant changes to the look and content of all volumes of the Building Code. Changes to how energy efficiency can be assessed and verification method for building in bushfire prone areas are two changes our building surveyors have commented will have an impact on your next project. Building surveyors and Certifiers are still permitted to certify buildings to the 2016 edition of the code as it is still in effect until 30 th  April 2020, however, it may be worth contacting one of our building surveyors today to discuss changes further.
